Evaluation part 4: Audience Feedback

For part of my audience feedback I used a questionnaire.
My questionnaire is both open and closed, with the ability to comment and the closed yes or no answers too, to give a larger view on the overall opinion of my magazine.

Open questionnaire:
Definition: Where the audience can give their full opinion in their own words
Positives: It shows what the audience is really thinking; it gives quotes on specific good and bad things that may not be brought up in a closed questionnaire.
Negatives: With an open questionnaire, statistics are almost impossible to calculate as the data is all different opinions, therefore, the data can't be processed onto a graph to show progress.

Closed Questionnaire:
Definition: Where the audience answer set questions that have set answers (e.g. Yes or No)
Positives: It gives set data which will enable you to calculate averages and other numbers to show the magazines popularity (e.g. predicted sales)
Negatives: The audience doesn't get to voice their true opinions, so, some bits that the audience feels is week, won't get the attention brought to it that it needs.
