Finished my Front Cover

I added a photo, changing the contrast and colour balance to make the lipstick bright red like the masthead and the models hair a more extreme colour (like the blue) to show she is involved in the rock genre. The other text was changed to the same blue of the bottom of the page and the other blue text, as leaving it black made it difficult to see,

Definitely my last of my contents page

Finally finished!

I altered a few images, and added a new one, from my main model for my article and front cover and I added a margin, overall, my contents page has gone really well, and in my opinion, looks authentic.

Photo Ideas - Front Cover

My front cover photo ideas

I am going to use a medium shot, probably at a slight birds eye view angle, and have the person dressed in clothing stereotypical to the rock genre and as I a using a female for my front cover, I need to think of Marjorie Fergusson's theory.
I am basing my model's "look" loosely off Haley Williams of Paramore - as she is the most well known female in the rock industry, and her look is liked amongst thousands of fan, but still using the style model of that of the Black Veil Brides issue of RockSound - as that was the favourite in my audience review.

Paramore - Hayley Williams is how I am basing my models appearance

Feature Article Screen Shots 1

So, this is the first screen shot of my feature article and I have used Times New Roman sized 10 font for my text, except the "Beihbinn Lee" in the corner which is the same font as a one used on my front cover. I also put in a margin and a bar running across the bottom to keep a house style running through my magazine.

I also have kept the same colour scheme, and will continue to keep that colour scheme to keep a running house style for my magazine.

Some unusable photos

Here are a few concert photos I didn't use on my magazine because they're blurred and unfocused, and in order to improve my magazine, I must improve the quality of my photos used, so I couldn't use these photos.

Front Cover Screen Shot 2

From the previous screen shots, I have added a barcode, also a bar along the bottom, showing it is a "special" poster issue. I also added my main masthead for my feature article, using a different font to the others, as that is also done in my style model. I made sure the font wasn't too garish and still fits with the colour scheme of the magazine. (Red white black and blue)

Final Contents Page (Possibly)

This could be my last draft of my contents page and I have added more pictures and changed one of my features, I also used the magic eraser tool to erase the background from two of the four images I had put on, to keep a white background, and to make them less busy and easier to fir with the scheme of the magazine.

I also added the same font I've used on my front cover's masthead to make it have a house theme running throughout the article.

Overall, my contents page has deterred a lot from my original flat plan, as I have made it a double paged article, and added more images and more text to add to the authenticity of the piece.

Feature Article style Model

For my style model I have decided to use the Kerrang! Sleeping With Sirens article that I analysed, making it shorter slightly. (1 A3 page instead of the three in the article) but I will use the same jouranlistic techniques with the writing in the article and will also get similar images set out in a similar way.
