A few photos that were unused
I couldn't use this photo, as, although the pose is something I probably would've used, the picture is blurry and therefore, unusable.
I didn't use this photo, as it is too similar to my primary article image, and therefore, this photo would have little impact on the audience because of the similarities.
Naomi Wolf
Naomi Wolf's theory for women in the media is that they use very attractive women to make the audience buy the product, whether it is a magazine or otherwise.
The theory suggests women are sometimes sexualised, so that it will attract more attention from those who find them attractive, as well as those genuinely interested in the product.
This is not just for men, women are also more likely (according to this theory) to buy something with a picture of an attractive woman on it, for idealistic values in society today, the woman almost sees the woman photo-shopped on the magazine as a beauty goal for herself.

Reviewing last 4 screen shots
All these screen shots show the addition of a black strip, and pictures down the middle of the text, as otherwise, it would look blank and plain without any added secondary images.
Said images were manipulated to change the brightness, colour contrast etc. on Photoshop and cut out and then placed on a white background. These images were bold images, and the model had different expressions in each photo, so they all had a bigger impact on the reader than images that were extremely similar.
I debated on putting in the black strip, but I thought it broke up all the white on the page, so it made it look more appealing, thus, I kept it on my article.

This screen shot shows how I've added a photo to one page of the article and I have edited it to make her lipstick brighter, and to give her hair a blue tint.
